Are OFF page and ON Page both necessary for best results?

    I wish to learn SEO and have a very basic query. I wanted to know whether ON page and OFF page both required to get good results? If so, what's the reason for that?

    What would be ideal; starting with ON page or OFF page?

    What are the things involved in ON Page and OFF page?

    Would really appreciate if you guys could give me in depth answers for the same.

    1. Yes, because they're two different subjects.
    2. Always On-page
    3. On-page:
    Keywords, keyword density, title tag, H1, Url, site speed, mobile responsive, time on site, CTR (click through rate), silo'ing, inter-linking, navigation.
    Off-page:
    Authority backlinks( from wherever you see fit)(including all the different sites/methods)
    Social Media mentions
    Citations (local SEO)

    For better seo results, both on-page and off-page are important. Proper title tags, keyword density and quality content are on-page factors. Relevant backlinks and social media are off-page.
