And till now we have published 1800 jobs, but still we get only 1000 visitors from search engines.

You are asking for free SEO consultation... don't just wait for replies to shower... :(
To understand your case better, can you please tell me what is the optimization score on Google Insights?
Do not place your URL publicly. Bad things can happen if you do.

To only be able to rustle up 20 job listings in a country the size of India seems like a poor effort.
Surely you can go through other sites to get listings and add them?
Or is the niche so small that there will never be many listings?
1000 visitors a day seems good for such a small site.

    What advertising do you do?
I know that in NZ there is a site called Seek that does ok, but they spend a huge amount on advertising on radio, tv, billboards, email etc. It's a highly competitive niche and you have to rely on brand recognition.

If your target audience targets specific location then don't expect too much traffic from it, unless if you are targeting globally.
On the other hand if you are providing enough content then, you must at least notify people that such job site exists.

I'm little confused what you are trying to say but, I would like tell you that the niche is not small, similar sites like mine are getting around 30,000 visitors are day and they even publish less number of listings that are also shorter and less detailed than us.

And I don't do any big advertising, only facebook ads are going on for now that adds up around 800 more visitors to the site.

    Thank You.

If your niche is not small how come you can't list more than 20 ads?

Other sites have 30k visitors vying for fewer than 20 job openings daily? Those employers must get overwhelmed wading through the CVs (aka resumes). Personally I'd be questioning their numbers.

In the meantime you need to find a way to get many, many more ads up on your site every day.

Its hard to find more than 20 job listings in a day.

Yes, they get 30K visitors in less than 20 listings and I'm quite sure about that due to many reasons.

Do you think 20 listings all with around 600 words is less... ?

1000 visitors daily from search engines combined.

Get one of your staff to open this page every day and cut and paste their listings. It's not hard to find 20 litsings. If a little country like NZ can generate hundreds every day you should be able to get thousands if your site has a global focus.

So few that your site is rendered worthless. If I was a job seeker I wouldn't bother returning. Your bounce rate must be abysmal. MFA?
