Ah. alright. Like I said, it depends on the site. If you can find it on a site for a retailer, it'll usually be around the same price in the store, though sometimes the outlet and online stores have different "special deals". If you buy it on ebay, and it's not from the half.com side, I wash my hands of any claim.
Same here. I'm probably going to wait until I can get it bundled with a starter pack that has extra controllers or Zelda in it. ^_^ That's how I bought my game cube. I bought the Radioshack Metroid Prime bundle.
I think the availability is pretty lousy everywhere. Nintendo really has underestimated it's popularity.
Hey, it's an initial release. At least they're releasing way more (and at a lower price) than Sony is releasing of the PS3.
*Walks into Home Depot* "Hi there. I'd like to buy a Wii." *The clerk from the Verizon commercial gives a funny look* "Sir... this is a hardware store." I don't think you'll EVER be able to buy a wii in -any- store you want too. Perhaps some day in the far off future where all stores have access to a huge centralized warehouse run by the world government you could order one from a hardware store... but by then it'd be an obsolete antique, and you might even have to buy a special power generator just to use it, and the TV. Oh Noes!
Thanks, but I thought people would understand what I meant. I meant when could you be able to find a Wii in any Circuit City, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc.
My prediction is that before the year 2009 is out, 90% of the stores in chains that carry gaming consoles will carry the Wii. I doubt it will ever be 100%, 100% of the time... as sometimes stores just plain old run out of stock.
