Yes. I am basing a site completely on Co-op. It works very well to generate a 30% clicktrough rate for my AdSense ads. You can have a look at it at www.lovesearch.no

The site is very simple, but people seems to like it. I am going to build a number of sites based on Co-op, because the consept of being able to hand-pick the sites to seach is fantastic in my opinion.

basicus... awesome site dude! can't believe I didn't think of this also. What are you doing for traffic?

bondat... things have completely changed since I got some interesting results. Co-op has evolved quite a bit.

Bit confused as I am a bit of a newbie...What is Google Co-Op? Is it just Google for search when it is the only thing you put on a site. Are you allowed to simply put Google for search on a domain and nothing else? Or is this some sort of seperate product that you need to sign up for?

You just need a google Account, signup for coop and you're in. You can have a custom search engine, attached to your AdSense account which can only search on specific domains (e.g.)

Just check it out.. worth to take look at it.

Well. I had a bit of luck with it. The domain www.loveseach.no was a part of a classifieds ads network spanning several countries. Then they must have gotten into financial problems, because they did not renew the domain name. So, I grabbed it when I realized that they had listings in both DMoz and several big regional directories.

So. the site had some traffic from day one.

Also, I have another domain with DMoz listing in another category that I redirected the traffic. As of now, there is around 50 - 100 unique visitors per day.

I have also started link building but that will of course take some time.

We make around $2 to 5 a day now on this site. Not bad for just grabbing a domain name, throw in Google Co-op and picking what sites to search, eh?

Yup thats pretty good for a quickly made site. Also a good earner for the amount of traffic.
