Tried everything to remove Spam traffic, but didn't work. Help me For this

Hello Friends,

I have tried everything to remove spam referal traffic but it's not working for me. Can anyone help me on how to do that.
My blog is on Wordpress.

 

Check the sites from where you are getting spam traffic and then put them in filter. You can use a Valid Hostname Filter.

And for the Crawler Spam you can use a Campaign Source filter with a expression with all crawler spam.

Check these are the referral spam which you can block on GA..

If you have already tried everything, then the best way might be to maintain a manual exclusion filter.

 

Moz has an excellent overview of Ghost Spam and how to set up a filter. I had the same issue and used a step-by-step outline on a website by a techie: https://moz.com/blog/stop-ghost-spam-in-google-analytics-with-one-filter

 

Removing referral spam is a big pain for everyone but it is possible to remove it to 99% by creating few filters with the use of regular expressions instead of creating filter for separate spam source and remove ghost hostname visits.

As someone shared many identified spam sources which need to filter out but you can implement this by creating 4-5 filters with the use of regular expression.

Sorry for the dumb question, but what is the reason you want to remove it? Is it just to make your analytics easier to look though, without the clutter? I have many of these also, so I'm wondering if there are any other negative consequences. Thanks.
