I use the filter to eliminate the spam traffic in referral traffic section. I did this by following this method:

However, i receive this notice from google analytics like this:

I did the above steps exactly according to the instruction. No mistake guaranteed. And i am sure that the data is not too small to be shown because i also tested this way in my other websites. Plus i have been waiting for more than 7 days to test again. All results in the same failure information. Please help me to correct this task. Thanks a lot.

It is because Google Analytics filter do not support IP address or specific country previews for location based filters at this time.

Thanks for your help Kylie, i updated this post, adding my question about removing the spam traffic, it is the same failure result as the IP filter, i don't know how to process this issue. If you may read my new post again and give me some advice, it will be highly appreciated. Thanks again!

Delete your created "Block Spam Bots" filter then kindly do this procedure:
At the Admin section of your website within your GA account, you will see the "View" column in which your website url is stated below then Click "View Settings" then at the basic settings include your website url at the "View Name Box" then also include your site's url at the "Website's URL Box"

The most important part is to Click the "Bot Filtering" feature to exclude spam traffic from unknown sources.
Then Click the "Save" button and that's it you're done.
