Hi, i have website melbcheapsuburbmovers.com.au and trying to bring it on the first page on google.com.au but it seems tough to acheive, can someone help and tell what i need to do exactly to bring it on top. my targeted keywords are:- Furniture removalists melbourne Cheap removalists melbourne Cheap removalist melbourne Furniture removalist melbourne Cheap furniture removals melbourne Furniture removals melbourne Cheap removals melbourne Melbourne removalist Melbourne removals Home removals melbourne Thanks for the help in advance
Do Australians use the terms removalist, removals? Here in the US we call people who move furnishings from one location to another movers. Here in the US we would want the keyword phrases: Melbourne movers cheap Melbourne movers
you might want to see how competitive those keywords are after getting the average monthly searches. use intitle search operator, for example intitle:"Furniture removalists melbourne" and see how many sites have that phrase in their title. If there are way too many, you are practically going against all of those sites. Pick the ones that have low competition with nice number of average monthly search and focus on those.
There are a few factors to consider Lea, Smyrl is right, that might be a first thing to consider. Second is, if it is rankable. Third, how much you use these keyword/s on your site. Can it be found at least on the title? the url? the navigation? etc. It must be optimized onsite. And also, if there are competitor's site ranking for the keyword, you might wan to look into their site and analyze how they rank for that keyword. Lastly, if you are going to pursue those keywords, ask yourself if these keywords when searched by your target market, will your site be able to give value to them? Hope it helps.
I suggest you create good quality content and try to include similar keywords related to your keywords to your articles. This will help you rank to multiple keywords from a single article thus more traffic to your website. I'm sure you're already doing on and build links from quality website.
I'd go with what Smyrl posted. It's my first time encountering the word "removalist" - the better and more common term is "movers", so I think you should prioritize optimizing those keywords. However, this depends on the Keyword Planner is showing though. If the removalist and removal terms are highly searched, I'd go with those.
