    I think DMOZ is not at all updating. If they are updating mean, they need to show recently added websites and categories. Then we can identify where we need concentrate to get DMOZ ranking. I have submitted one of client website more than 3 years back. But still now its not visible even I didn't get rejected mail. DMOZ wants to make changes, those who are the websites get selected or rejected need inform via mail. That will be useful both webmaster and DMOZ editors.

    DMOZ will not send an email advising if you have been rejected. I dont see how sending emails is useful for Editors????

    You can read the guidelines and if you site is listable, then it is probably still waiting for a review. If it isnt listable, it may well have been rejected.....but you shouldnt need an email to tell you that it has been rejected if you read the guidlines to start with.

    Volunteer Editors add / edit many thousands of sites per month but with over 4 million sites or more in the directory, it is a never ending task. We get there eventually :)

    Dmoz gives you high quality link, it is the best directory as always, but the time it take to consider your website is in years. Most of the time they rejects low quality website, i don't think that even digitalpoint can make through to dmoz listing.
