    Hi all,

    As an introduction, my name is Dave Bird and I am in charge of business development at Advertistic a new PPC text ad network.

    We seek international publishers as a means of populating our new 'Site Match' scheme, a system where publishers are able to set their own 'revenue per click' rate, and advertisers can select websites upon which to run campaigns.

    How does this work?

    All of the details of this can be seen at our website, but essentially, each of our publishers websites are listed for advertisers to peruse, allowing the ad buyer to purchase text ads on his/her specified site, based upon the click rate selected by the publisher. We have a major promotion campaign planned through the rest of December and January to further promote this service.

    How are you any different to other text networks?

    • You set your own click rate and keep 100% of it
    • We guarantee a 100% fill rate with network ads whilst your clicks are unsold
    • The ads are unbranded - no 'ads by *****' messages'
    • You can run our ads alongside contextual ads
    • We rotate ads so they do not become ‘stale’ and inefficient
    • Advertisers can make click 'offers' to publishers when they think the asking price is high

    As a bonus, we are crediting publisher accounts with $5 for every single accepted website that has run our code. To claim this, simply sign-up (entering Digitalpoint in the ‘referred by’ field of the sign-up form), await acceptance, and add our code to your site (s)!

    We have added a single example website to show how your listings will look.

    Finally, our network-ad rates are very competitive even if you never sell a click and so it really is a win-win situation. Although we are a small team, we have extensive experience in the online advertising industry and already have a number of well-known brands advertising over the network.

    For more details, please feel free to check our FAQ’s and contact me. We also provide live help to bolster our support and service ethic.

    how the hell do you make any money? don't you incur paypal fees, cc processing, your own server fees, adserving fees, legal taxes...

    Now this one I find hilarious.

    I have to say it: beautiful shopping cart system. I love the screenshots of each site and all those little things. I hope this works for you, I plan on signing up here soon when I get some sites up. Bookmarked.

    @bcruzer:

    Thank you for your interest. We make money by adding our fee onto the publishers asking price. We charge 30% which covers all of the costs that you have listed (and you are right, there are many). So, if the publishers click revenue is 0.20, the asking price to advertisers is is 0.26. All of this is transparent and detailled in our FAQ section.

    As to your second post, it seems that you have stumbled across our admin login screen (after a little search/guesswork I am sure). Not sure why you find it 'hilarious' to post this, but it's no problem. Having checked your post history (I thought this post was a little strange), it seems that you are about to launch your own PPC ad network. However, I am sure the attempted negativity towards this post is completely unrelated. Good luck with your venture.

    @Drig: Thank you for your kind comments. The shopping cart system (which is completely independent of the adserver) was actually custom developed and from the guys at CS-CART who have been amazing. They have extensive experience in ecommerce development and have provided us with a fast and flexible solution.

    As an update, I am being asked if we are accepting sites from the US (as I said 'international publishers'.)

    The anwer is YES! We are happy to accept sites from ALL countries, providing their sites meet with our acceptance criteria.

    I read that he is business development manager. So, its technically not his venture, but seems to be a successful one if they can afford great staff like Mr. Bird

    This is really interesting point and I'm thinking of joining, do you have any examples of network ads? What is the average CPC?

    Network ads are priced with network prices i guess, not the one we set? So something like we set a price, if nobody likes our price and do not buy from us, we service network ads on your rate?

    Thank you all for the feedback so far, and thanks to those of you that have applied to the network.

    @BRUm:

    Thank you for your kind words and good luck with your own venture. Feel free to drop me a PM and stay in touch.

    @Dominicc2003:

    Our policy on images is that images next to ads are permited, providing they do not encourage the user to click the ad. ('Clike Here' or 'Support Our Sponsors' etc.)

    @ Mikkom:

    The network ads work as 'filler' ads whilst we await for your defined ads to be sold. We use full targeting on these ads and have a wide range of ads to select. Each of your sites is allocated its own adpool of targeted ads and over time this pool is optimised through prioriting performing ads and replacing non-performing ads; a system that works well. I am unable to give you examples, but can confirm that we can gaurantee the 100% fill and that the rates are competitive.

    @aras:

    Yes, network ads are served whilst we await for your defined ads (where you set the rate) to be sold. As soon as your defined ads are sold these take priority over the network ads and are served first.

    I hope this helps, and am looking forward to working with those of you that give us a try.

    Hi Mentol,

    The networks first pay date is the first week of January and so the answer to your question is no!

    However, I can assure you that payments will be prompt and reliable.

    PM me if you would like to discuss further.

    Thanks.

    Hi Smon,

    We pay international publishers with Paypal or Moneybookers.

    Our minimum payment is £10 (approx $20), which is paid in the first week of the following month.

    I hope this helps!

    I hope you are not a scammer like many PPC programs, just like I was reading today: "Give PPC the Finger" :D

    (I know, adsense is making me money, but I prefer CPA)
