I'm sure some of you already know what Free Hugs is, basically they are a Campaign for peace and love. They try to impact on people's lives and make them feel like they are appreciated.

Unfortunately, this doesn't always work out as well for a guy surrounded by guys as it might for a girl in any company. I am a naturally huggy person, but I've had to curb that impulse due to it making people uncomfortable rather than happy.

Because the main message of "The Lord of the Flies" is that everyone is born evil.

In the book, there are a group of boys left on an island on their own after a plane crash. You start to see how they become evil by enjoying killing animals then each other.

The book shows the readers that once you take people even children out of society, they use their natural instinct and kill and therefore everyone is born evil, it is just society that is holding it back.

It's interesting, although I don't beliebe people are born evil.

 

Ah, that's a great campaign, hugs should be shared freely

The whole world needs to cheer up, trying to ban free hugs, whatever next

Oh, I don't believe that people are born evil either. However I don't think that a total lack of inhibitions is a good thing either. Inhibitions are what keep us from listening to those little voices in the backs of our heads telling us to do weird, silly, or even dangerous things.

If there were no inhibitions, there would be much fewer people restraining themselves from acting on anger, much fewer people dragging themselves out of bed to go to work in the morning, and much fewer parents tending to their children.

Now, some people are indeed overly inhibited, but a lot of the people out there that do real harm are too uninhibited.

 

well said. The message I really wanted to get across is that people should just treat each other with respect be happier and nicer people lol
