Hello everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. I'm back with another contest. I would like a simple and professional logo that will go on the main website, but it also be used for printing t-shirts, stickers for cars, motorcycles, so it's a must to be vector based. Logo Details: Topic: Motorcycle Repair Garage Text on the logo: Traxden Motorcycles I would like the logo to be build based on that text + some artwork. Don't really have a size or colour preference, what ever looks nice. Just to be aware, the website has a light background ( white or light grey) , but if possible, please create 2 versions of the logo, one that will work on light background and one for dark ones. Other details: I would suggest all the entries to be made by posting in this thread, as my client does NOT have access to my personal messages. I am more than happy to assist and give feedback on all the entries. The winner will have to provide me with the final output file, source file , high res files. And as part of our transaction, he has to agree that I will hold the final copyright of the logo. The winner will be announced in maximum this weekend, either Saturday or Sunday. I can stop the competition at any time earlier than the deadline mentioned above, if I find something that my client likes. The Payment will be made via PayPal. Thank you very much and good luck.
Thank you very much for your entries. Just some quick feedback . I spoke with my client, and he would like something more Motorcycle based instead of those spanners. So maybe include a motorcycle as your artwork, be creative. Just some examples, but do not copy, my client would like something unique: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/70-logo-contest-paypal-payment.2715210/
Great .. Just heard back from my client. . Once again, thank you everyone for your entries. @Danys78 - Nice work . But it feels a bit to plain, too simple for my client, and it looks a bit too eco/green by the colours that you choose. If you do follow the feedback that I also offer to other participants, I think you will get the idea of what my client likes. As I started, I didn't want to put to many requirements, because I wanted to give the freedom to the designers to do something unique. @John Sword - Sorry, I don't really like it . First of all, my client would prefer the shape of a Sports Bike if possible. Also your work it's a bit too plain, to much black and old style, and I don't think it will look nice on a website. @Kiran Fatima - Nice work . I think out of all your entries, my client likes your first one. The one where you managed to combine the spanners and motorcycles wheels. It's very good. I like the idea. But there is plenty of room for improvement. -As I mentioned to John, maybe try and work with a Sports Motorbike type, I know it's not easy , but it's also not impossible. -The text just doesn't feel connected with the art, maybe something more blend in , and also the Font, more "modern" instead of handwriting. -And the last thing, colours, because you used only one colour for everything it looks a bit to plain. Try a combination of 2 colours maybe... But nice work. Thank you
Perfect .. Thank you everyone for your entries. Here it comes: @creativediva - Nice logo , but it needs a lot of improvements. Not sure why , but everyone tries to use that gear and it just doesn't fit in. At least not on my client's taste. Also the text it feels disconnected form the artwork .. My client would like something more embedded with the art work, not just a plain type text. Ex: Use the X in some ways like Erick did. I've outsourced some other motorcycle logos in the past and some people used the wheels of the motorcycles as O's in the actual text. And that's more a connection. Or just wiggle the text a bit around the artwork. These are just some examples, but I'm sure there are plenty of ways of doing it if you are creative. @SGDESIGNS - Nice work , but same things apply here, the text feels cheap and disconnected .. @Kiran Fatima - Thank you for trying, i liked the idea of using those spanners instead of wheels. The colours improved , but the main issue is still there. it gives the feeling that is a custom bike not a sports one . The same thing with the text applies to you .. @amerriaz - Thank you for your entry . It's not something that my client likes, and that gear it's a bit overused. Sorry. @gedomain4u . Thank you for your entry. The bike looks a bit weird. The text has a bit too many details ( that shadow, 3d effect) which would not be very good for printing. And it just doesn't look very professional. Sorry. @Erick0225 - Very nice . My client really likes your work. He likes the way you used the Letters ( X ) to blend in with the artwork. Some suggestions. - My client was a bit sick of those overused gears. Is it possible to change it maybe with a motorcycle tyre or something else? But keep this version as well just in case the other one doesn't look good. - Keep this version, but can you also try to make a plain version of the logo, same colours but without those light, 3d effects, just to see how it looks like, as it might be better for printing stickers. Thank you everyone for your entries. I am trying as much as possible not to waste anyones time, so I hope you got the idea of the logos that can be improved and those that don't have to try anymore. Like I said, extra points are always awarded for creativity and mixing things together .
Thank you for your re-submission @getdomain4u . I really appreciate you trying, but is still a no, sorry. As my client already found something that he likes ( Erick's entry- he deleted his post to avoid other people copying his concept ) , I would like to give a Final Notice that the contest will end tomorrow. The contest it's not over yet, the winner will be chosen tomorrow, so there are still chances for others submit their work and win. I will be posting tomorrow the results. Thank you very much.
Thank you for your feedback Here is one new version as per your feedback Anything let me know Feedback Appreciated
