URGENT HELP WEBSITE URL SEO

    Hello all

    I have change my url Method.

    Before change i have my urls like this

    http://yogtoday.com/city/delhi/listing/arya-yoga/

    Now i have remove CITY word from url.

    http://yogtoday.com/delhi/listing/arya-yoga/

    I have problem with my webmaster tool and seo as well my website show 600 found 404 erros
    so can you please help me out how i can remove all my errors from webmaster and SERP

    Mark all as fixed in gwt, it will gradually reduce and you ll no longer see such errors in near future.
    Make sure links are updated in sitemap.

    Well in that case you have to redirect (301) your old URL on your New URL, and update on your sitemap and XML

    Hi Aryans can you explain how i use the code . in htaccess file.

    Well you can use this tool http://www.rapidtables.com/web/tools/redirect-generator.htm for generate code. one more thing if you remove city on your index URL then it ll be count as broken link (404 error) whenever you need to do that kind of things 1st redirect that URL on your new URL, or if you want to remove any URL then first block through google webmaster tool and robots.txt after 15 days you can remove that URL from your site it ll never count on your broken links...

    Submit your New Links to Google Webmaster Tools. Remove the Old Ones using the Removal Tool Available within Google webmaster.

    did you 301 the old URL into the new one? those old URLs can have equity built up.

    once you do that, check all those errors as fixed in GWT.

    Download all the links from GWT and apply 301 redirect. they will be remove after a while automatically.
