Buying Need Someone for photo-tagging (6 hours work)

Discussion in 'Content Creation' started by Arunrajvs, Apr 22, 2015.

Requirement - Someone who can tag 500 pictures every-day for 6 six days a week. You need to put minimum 5 tags per picture.

Skill-set required - Good command over English language, good grammatical skills, ability to type fast without errors and an ability to search through Google for information about a picture. Someone who is well-versed with Hollywood celebrities would be given preference. Speed is of essence while tagging.

Time - 6 hours every-day .(Time-slot) will be decided by me, may include nightshift)

    Compensation - $130-$150

    PM me if interested

Oh if only, watch him come back now and say it's the monthly rate :D
And what's the point of a 'night shift'? Maybe I'm acting completely clueless, but surely you'd get the same results working 6 normal daytime hours instead of messing up your sleeping pattern?

So tag 500 pictures a day with a minimum 5 tags per picture..

So lets say it takes 3-5 minutes to do each picture. (Some research might be needed)

Lets call it 4 minutes average then.

So 500 pictures at 4 minutes per picture = 2000 minutes. Or 33.33333 hours.

But you are expecting people to do it within 6 hours? 0.o

Even if it only takes 2 minutes per picture.

    2 x 500 = 1000 minutes or 16.6667 hours.

Do you see how its not even possible?

Especially for not what you are paying!

    Great analysis Mkcoy.
When I had a look at the subject I though it is going to be really easy but if its 500 a day then it is gonna consume a lot of time.
It is all an assumption as we still are not clear what you are looking for.
It would be great if you can elaborate the entire thing in detail.
    Good Luck

Disregard the pay for a moment.
Adding 5 tags to a frickin picture is not going to take you more than 30 seconds no matter how you turn around it unless you are mildly retarded, which might fit your bill on 2nd consideration.
@ 30 seconds per image the whole frickin task can be done under 250 minutes.
    250 mins = 4.16 hours

Even if he did it in 45 seconds he or she would still be at approx the right time

The fact that you estimate this at an insaley lazy and slow rate of one image to be tagged every 2 minutes just proves why I should never hire an westerner to do this type of work.

You are not doing your kind any merit by posting these comments, you are simply eliminating yourself from the game.

NO matter if I paid 200usd for a days work or 5usd I would want the work to get done in an efficient manner and not be forced to pay 2-3-4 times as much due to the fact it would take you 2-3-4 times as long. Hope you get this simple math but I am afraid this is beyond you or you would not have posted that retarded comment

and that goes to anyone liking your posts or even disputing the OP's offer

Yes. Adding tags to a picture is quick. What you have forgotten, is that the OP mentioned that the person will have to do a search to find information about the picture. That adds a bit more time to your 30 secs per image estimate. (How much time would depend on prior knowledge of the celebrities, internet speed, search skills, etc.) Now, if the OP wants useless and irrelevant tags, (for example - wrong celebrity name or wrong location / event / depicted character), a person could potentially add tags in 30 seconds or less. In addition, how quick the image and/or gallery loads is a factor in the overall time it will take to complete one image.

right click in chrome - search Google for this image + 2 seconds or less depending on connection
name of celeb will be present and since Google has data on all celebs selecting the name and right clicking again+search will give you the actual bio data + 2 seconds again
all in all this was already included in the 30-45 seconds what you say adds no time
but off course you were going to do this in a more inefficient way
