How many adsense ads are allowed in 1 page?

    I know that we can place 3 ad units, 2 search boxes and 3 link units

    what I am confused is that it says you can place a maximum of 1 300x600 units
    so it is 4 ad units or just 3 ad units per place?

    is this website against adsense TOS?

    A total of 3 ad units.. So if you place 1 300x600 unit, you can place two more ad units of different sizes.

    They are probably a premium publisher, as such they negotiate their own terms with Adsense.
