I'm hoping to have a good month this month! YT analytics look good so we'll see how it shows in a few days!
Well, we're officially in the 2nd quarter so things should pick up. 1st quarter is always a bit rough.
Anyway, YouTube Partners, what do you think of the new YouTube's monetization terms that will be applied this coming June 15th? It says in 3-A that any third party claims to your content will void your right to receive the revenue from youtube. As we all know, a lot of big company jerks in YT have had been filing false claims for at least a year now. So even if you own everything in your vid and some of those assholes figure out you cant fight them back legally, they'll claim your vid as theirs, and get away with all your earnings. Anyone worried?
I wish I could say the same, But I get like 40k views a day. . youtube is my main thing. and this new terms is killing ordinary yt partners. It's kinda okay before, we still get the money we earned before someone files a claim. but now, this is just absurd. Cant even counter-file an appeal. because the the claimer are the ones who review the appeal and instantly rejects any appeal. now that's just kinda stupid.

What kinda material do you have? All self made videos? I see a lot of people getting adsense with clearly copyrighted material and I'm sure those are the targets of the new rules. Like the people with tv shows, popular music videos and what not. You can't just make a 24 hour loop of the fox and call it original!
EXCUSE ME..but you posting in the wrong thread and cluttering General Discussion with the wrong topics.
