I have found some of my site have a new PR. I use the future pagerank tool, some datacenter shows old 3 and others show new 4. Did any of your site changed?
Google Page Rank is still updating. This was mentioned on Matt Cutts videos about the update of PR. This will end up until next year before all data centers updates. Because some data centers have old algorithm thats why it took so long before it updates.
It is still updating.. But most likely what PR you have after Sept 30,2006 will be your PR after the update is over. Your PR might remain constant thats why you're saying your seeing old PR. May I know what tool are you using?
I am using http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ There is no way that my pr stays the same because when i started my blog on this domain www.sourcer.org it had like 100 back links and 30 pages indexed by Google. Now i have over 5200 back links and over 1000 pages indexed by Google. My pages are in the serps and i receive traffic from google, i guess i am not banned or i'm in the sandbox and in my opinion i should see a pagerank increase.
You have PR3. Whats your previous PR? It really depends on Google on what will be your next PR. Yes PR is based on backlinks. Maybe your just frustrated that your PR didn't increase. Better luck next year.
