guys, i want to crate a site on which various coupons and deals are provided basically i need a site like this desidime.com, dealsupto.com and freekaamaal.com, so i will be need the fuctionality of forum and a coupon script also can you suggest me some premium templates and extension of joomla to build this, i am experienced in wordpress but i am new to joomla and i know this kind of site is easy to build in wordpress but i want to do something unique and get some experince in joomla also so thats why i have decided to build in joomla, please help me in this and one more thing i don't know php coding just know some html.

You will have a problem with wordpress. After finding the plugin ( which is another problem ) you will see that you will spend a lot of time adding coupons. Be aware of this time consuming step.

 

Big coupon sites don't run Joomla or WordPress. WordPress is for blogs, Joomla for member management so for a coupons site, best script would be a turnkey coupons script.

 

You can try PHP Link Directory, which is a php-based directory. But I haven't built coupon website by it before.

I never thought I'd see the words complex and joomla in one sentence. lol. I've also never seen anyone say it is a user management system. Managing users is the least of what I use it for. I use it to manage content and media, which is what it is designed for.

As for the OP, there are a ton of extensions to accomplish what you want. I would recommend that you use either CMCouponListings or jVouchers.

IF you pay for the feed ... that is not well for your budget. You have to find something that won't make you pay each month for the imported coupons.

If you take developer couponphp package so you don't need to pay monthly CouponFEED.

If you stick with Wordpress, you could use a "plug-n-play" bundle such as Couponer on themeforest or something similar.. it's basically just a wordpress theme that comes with built-in or ready to install plugins.

Either way, there are a ton of coupon-related plugins for wordpress, both paid and free, which could just do the trick.

 

We have already used lot of WP Plugins but Very few Coupon are usefull, Due to this Website Visitor Down, So It is better to get Service from those company who have already thousands of Coupon Mar chant , Original Coupon and deals , I do not want Craps Deals and coupons.
