How to verify expired domain traffic

I am bidding for some expired domains in Godaddy domain auction market. The Godaddy stats shows good traffic to domains,I want to verify these traffic stats from third party. Is there any third party tool or source where I can verify the traffic? Any help would be highly appreciated

 

No, there isn't because godaddy is the registrar where these expiring domains are managed.

 

So can we trust the stats provided by godaddy? Are they true?

 

Maybe. I'm not sure exactly what they track... do they count bots, do they count uniques or do they count repeat visits? You have to know their methodology in order to "trust" their traffic. You can ask them and find out what they exactly track. If they do count bots, those stats wouldn't be any good. All you care about is real human traffic.

You can use alexa tool to check traffic.

 

I wouldn't go solely off GoDaddy... I think the best way to do it (although it takes some time)..Is throw wordpress or something on there along with Google Analytics. They seam to be the best and most accurate, so you'll get the best idea.
