Is It Possible To make A living Online Without PPC Marketing?

I have not recorded much success with PPC marketing. I tend to spend so much on PPC and my clickthrough rate is often high but very poor conversion. My earnings do not measure up to what I spend on PPC marketing. My keywords are often focused but its expensive. My inexpensive keywords do not get good click through.
For now i want to quit PPC marketing and focus my effort on other affiliate marketing strategies. Can I make a living online without PPC marketing? What other strategies are effective?

My client has never spend ANY money on marketing (banners, links, ppc, press, etc) yet manages six figure yearly sales. So yes, it is possible to make a living without PPC sales.

 

Yes its possible. I've been working on a few websites myself with no paid advertising, PPC, or banners, or text links, yet the sites are earning $ 1k from adsense and another $ 1k from other affiilates. All the traffic comes directly from search engines.

Yes, I've done this for 6 months. Try to sell links, create website, promote and sell it. But this is a short term solution for a living. Try to mix it up.

 

Personally, I have not yet tried PPC advertising, but have heard people making substantial income using PPC. If you are not making enough of your advertising, either you are not doing it right, or you need to find another place to advertise.
Other than advertising online with PPC or affiliate programs, you can also try offline advertising as it works better for specific niches and can cost less depending on the medium you choose to advertise.

I hate buying ads and have done it only a few times over the years. No job since 1997 so yeah it's possible.

 

What method of affiliate marketing can guarantee quick result? SEO strategy takes time before it can yield any good result. I would be happy if you can help me on this.

 

Well my client has spent $0 on marketing, but affiliate marketing can guarantee a quick result if you ACTIVELY find affiliates. Give some sort of extra incentive for the first sale, advertise your affiliate program through forums, PPC, and more.

 

I am an affiliate marketer, I market products for merchants e.g moreniche,commission junction and clickbank.com. Would article marketing guarantee me good results? Or what other method would do.

You can NEVER guarantee results. I have been successful with affiliate marketing because I RESEARCH the products (target market, price, etc) and the website Im advertising on (target market, etc).

But PPC is some times not good for webmasters

Since PPC only depends upon the content and if your content is some thing related with a good business you may get a lot of conversion

but if your content is related with some sports like cricket

you may not generate good revenue even though you have lot of visitors

It definitely is. However combining PPC with organic traffic can help spread the risk a little....just in case you run into trouble with Google for some reason.
