I have few names in my mind now. I want get more idea from you guys. I want English name with 2 or 3 syllables that sound cute and meaningful. Thanks
Do you want some religious meaning to it or what? A combination of parent's name is quite cool, it is like giving your name/love to your child. There are tons of names out there, I would like to go with unique names if ever.
Jeremy Patrick You want something that people can spell - so use the traditional spelling, kids hate it when everyone gets their name wrong. My friend is a teacher and we were sitting waiting for our daughters to finish a gym session and she was marking. One paper was for "Porsha" and I cringed, poor girl is branded a bogun for all of time because her dumbarse parents couldn't spell. Or worse, something that the local population refuse to pronounce right - we have lots of Caitlyns running round with their name pronounced "kate - lynn" when it's actually pronounced "cash-leen". You know those shops in the mall that sell mugs and pens and key rings with names on them? I can always find something with my daughter's name but never with my son's. I buy neither and they both resent it. I don't think it does them any long term harm but it is something to consider.
I hear that Cullen is a really popular name for boys these days. I like Dylan better, though. If I might ask, what is wrong with one syllable names?
There's nothing wrong with one syllable, but his mom prefer two as in our country it's very easy for people to call when u have two syllables name. Anyway, he will be 7 months soon and will be born in 2 months I'm so exited to be a father.
