I was surfing archive.org a few minutes ago, and i found something very cool. The old digitalpoint forums!!! The forums only had 3 posts at the time. Check it out: http://web.archive.org/web/20040227042737/http://forums.digitalpoint.com/
That was never actually live... was a test thing when I had to test some stuff on phpBB for someone. Notice the capture date was Feb 4, but the 3 posts (all by me) was from Sept 21 from the previous year.
If you want to see the *actual* old forum, look for March 4, 2004 in archive.org... That's when the first post was... https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/barcoding-within-logo.1/
ok i will look that up. I will post a link in this thread once i have it EDIT: i have it! It was actually taken on march 24th. It was the oldest i could find of the old forum. Here is the link: https://web.archive.org/web/20040325142043/http://forums.digitalpoint.com/
I found something too: http://web.archive.org/web/20050307034650/http://forums.digitalpoint.com/ Sort of like "history in the making"...
Yes Dp changed a lot and It was at its best 2 years back.. All old members were active but nowadays I don't see much old members active.
It's a shame most of earlier members are no longer active.. Dang hard to believe I've been on here for close to 10 years.
I almost didn't start posting again because it feels so unfair that I have to jump through hoops again to post in the selling forums. Maybe that's why some old members don't come back. 5 year old account and now I need "likes."
On a DP anniversary you should change the forum theme to look like the original site (for as much as you can anyway)!
