I'm no math expert, but doesn't that work out to about 100,000 dollars put kick attempt this year? I think he missed some games early in the season, so he has not suited up for every single game. Heck, it might even be more than 100,000 per kick attempt. Anyone got Jerry Jones telephone number? I might like to try out for that kicking job. He could always let me go after I missed a couple of important kicks! :

If I had a kid, I'd have him practice place kicking and punting from the time he could walk. He'd be guaranteed a position on the team in HS, a shoe-in college *cough*Florida*cough* and make decent money in the pro's for what's the easiest job ever.

Yeah, not to mention that they paid Rocky Boiman(LB) a $1M signing bonus and he didn't even make the squad!! But that was under different circumstances entirely.

JJ was quite adamant about his frustration with the kicker, spending that much money for nothing!!! He said NEVER again!!! The position is just too fragile.

    it's nice to have a plan ;)

jeez, if the kid can do both - that would be a huge +

are there any active players that do both??

I just finished watching the New Orleans/Dallas game. What a disaster for the Cowboys who didn't play well, which can't be said for a very good NO team!

I felt good for Mr Brees, watching him destroy the uppity Cowboys secondary.

    Great game!!!

Entire Cowboys team was "owned" coaches included!!!

what could have easily been a 60-10 game...you call great?

Great for NO maybe :p :p

but a far cry from a 'great game', it was a major spanking!

I can't stand the cowboys, hence the awesomeness of the drubbing by the Saints.

My Chargers are looking damn good. I'm glad Phillip Rivers is doing well, or it would be really painful to watch Brees having such a great season. :)

What a joke the AFC is. Colts v Chargers. Colts have no run defense. Chargers have the best running back in the league. Who's gonna win?

That's the setup for #1 v #2 in the AFC right now, isn't it? That's what I'm referring to. The other AFC teams look pretty mediocre to me. Colts/Chargers are the class of the division, even with Colts just meandering their way to the playoffs. The colts seem bored to me. Who knows.

I see. Y, I think the Chargers are the team to beat right now by quite a margin.

What about Baltimore....they have a good record at least right?

Ravens are hard to judge. The AFC north seems soft to me this year. But, they do have a strong (smacks self for saying "great" originally) defense and 13th ranked offense (that's surprising) but I don't think they have the firepower to stand up on a road game. If they can get the Colts or Chargers at home, maybe, but on a road game they are toast.

I haven't seen a whole football game in 3 weeks or something now (not that I WANT to watch the Bucs this year anyways LOL), though, cuz of christmas and being really busy, but by the time its over everything should be set for the playoffs. Too bad a tradeshow is on playoffs weekend (as usual), so I have to watch in a hotel bar or something.

EDIT - it is sooo hard to follow who says what when we all have the same avatar. :p
