Beware of the Content.Ad Scam- Over a Million impressions

80% USA
7% Canada

6% Rest of world

All organic from Google and social media.

 

What's the scam that they pay 1 penny per click? What do you think they are charging the advertisers? I'm not criticizing or anything just trying to understand your warning. Thanks.

Beware of the Content.Ad Scam

 

Yes, they have very low rates, I agree. But this doesn't mean they are scam; you can say they are scam only if you have reached the minimum payout and you didn't got paid in their NET terms. Don't use them if you don't like the rates - but don't make unsustainable scam affirmations, based only on their low rates!

 

You first need to learn what exactly scam means, you seems has no idea or have not been really scammed by any network that is why you have no idea what you talking.

Just because you do not like their rate does not make it scam network, this is your choice if you want to work on that rate or not, if not just move to another network

 

The guy just pissed. Imagine, he got only 10 bucks for 4 months and million impressions. And yeah, I agree he should not say scam.

 

I have been a Content.ad publisher for a month now. I have got an eCPM of 0,15$ getting average CPCs of almost 10 cents. I am overall happy with them because in my niche is not easy to monetize with a general CPC/CPM network.

 

I had a really nice eCPM (of over 1$) and suddenly it dropped to 0 , they said advertisers opted out because the traffic isn't converting..(??)
this does smells really REALLY bad.
Did anyone actually GOT PAID by contant.ad?

 

Sounds legit to me, if I was paying for traffic and it didn't convert I would also opt out.

 

well I didnt mention that they claim to pay per action like registretion , leaving email ..
and also thtat I see pretty much the same ads only 0 ecpm.

 

Though this content is a bit dated, I appreciate the sound reasoning shown by members of this forum in response to the accusatory and defaming statements, which are against the terms of this site, made above about Content.ad.

We are a top competitor in the industry and take both our performance and customer service seriously.

The rates shown in the graphs are extremely low and typically seen on publishers who provide us with very low quality traffic or fraudulent traffic. It is possible that some of the publishers who experience low rates with us actually have decent traffic overall which generates returns from other advertisers, but just not with us.

Bottom line, if the traffic isn’t paying out for our advertisers, they will just stop buying it from the publisher. As lukey372 said, “...if I was paying for traffic and it didn't convert I would also opt out.”

There are many factors which can lead to poor performance including: site layout, size of ads, layout of ads, # of ads, placement on page, traffic quality & sources, etc.

Mo-T – If you were getting high rates which suddenly dropped, it is most likely due to your site getting blocked from receiving certain ads (either from a specific advertiser or an entire group of advertiser campaigns) which were previously generating all of your revenue. We run a variety of similar content from different advertisers who payout at different rates. So, you may still see similar ads but generate lower rates from these different advertisers.

My revenue from content.ad, It is very nice. It is a high paying ad network for me than other ad networks like chitika, bidvertiser and infolinks ect..

My traffic 80% from US ,10% from India and 10% from other countries.

 

Today i received money from content.ad I love content.ad because i cant get approved by Revcontent which is kinda better

 

Content ad is Ok with me, i think your problem is clicks, 0.01x 657 = $6.57 they don't just pay for page views they pay for clicks and they are not a scam!

 

These guys are cheaters. I have earned about $1000 dollars last month but at the end of the month they canceled all the payment.

Now they won't reply to my mails. Please don't get cheated like me.

 

Erm, what did you do to go from $0.06-$11.92 a month to over $1,000 in May? Maybe they saw something weird in that HUGE jump?

 

If some guy was earning $4 per month,, and then I see a jump up to $1K per month,, I would look into that, and would not pay until I was sure it was legit ..

But back on Topic,, 1 cent per click does seem low ,, but it is only a scam if they refuse to pay when you meet their requirements..
With a million impressions, you should be with google adsense anyway..

 

Is used to be a blogger than completely change to affiliate, I have not used it much but 0.10 for India traffic seems good. Idk whether they pay or not.
