    Link Value = 1 Point

Whether you get listed or not what's the point. There are lots of sites out there that are not listed that comes out on page 1 in keywords. And your point of defending is.....

Though you are right and I partially agree with you, we can't ignore the fact that every webmaster is trying to submit to DMOZ.

Well no one has been able to even try lately. They claim to have temporary problems, but there's nothing temporary about it. This is the message for almost 2 months now:

I agree also. It is not worth once it was.

I was trying to submit my site for months. However they did nothing to correct the problem.

Having problems with your site or DB is not a great msitake. But insisting on the mistake is a great mistake.

Do anybody know any other directory which is nowadays as popular and useful as once DMOZ was?

Careful. You might get infractions for running up your post. Just a friendly advice. It has already been addressed by minstrel somewhere.

Popo, I don't think they give infractions for asking for clarification on a confusing post. Or do they? I could be wrong.

Well actually that was kind of my point. I still am not able to figure out what "Question" was being asked. Looks more like a senseless post of jibberish to boost post count......only 23 more to go before he can add to his signature. ;)

What a load of crap, just realized that digitalpoint seems to also believe that response was worthy of an infraction. Give me a break. The guy posts complete jibberish and I ask him huh? And I get accused of running up the post count? What the heck do I need a post count increase for anyway? You get an infraction to compostannie, or am I the lucky recipient?

Oh well, live and learn I supoose :D

No I didn't get an infraction, but to be fair my post did contain twice as many words as yours did.

Also, my avatar is cuter than yours. Hint: you aren't fooling anyone with your picture. That is NOT a copper drum, it's some sort of other metal you phony baloney you!

Oh, and I still don't understand what that person's post meant so I can't figure out where minstrel answered it. Minstrel normally makes sense but that post did not.

Yeah I know, I wasn't talented enough to color my 'silverdrum' copper. :) I figured what I should have typed now after the fact was:
then probably wouldn't have been an issue.
