Who knows. I have an account where I sent 3,000 requests per day that is still up. It's probably luck.
well let me add I use adderrobot to add friends, I did 100 request a day - since I read something similar to this, then for 1 month I stopped adding friends, as bulletins and msg were all automated, soon enough my acct was termed - I was a little aggregated, since I was making money off myspace, so I opened up a new one, still fixing the layout and information about it - My MySpace! Support the Movement! - lol
as of right now I am not - I want to finish the page and soon I will use some tactic myspace marketing to gain traffic
I think adding a round number of friends a day, and predictably keeping that up, is likely to send a flag. So 99 one day, 123 the next is probably less of an issue then precisely 25 (or 100) each day, for weeks.
I can't believe anyone on myspace accepts your friend request. I enjoy declining stupid businesses (mostly porn) from my friend requests.
Yep, it's my main test account. On at least two occasions I let adderrobot go for about 24 hours straight, each time was 2-3k friend requests and somehow got away with it (even when the account was new, like August or September)
just one acct?? once it hits 500 or whatever those other requests don't go through! yeah, you can request until you are blue in the face but look at your pending folder...you should see it cut off around the 500th request!! ------------------------ My personal acct, 15million range has been in and out of what looks like being flagged for 2 weeks now. It was in the shidder for at least a week I think before it cleared, was fine for a few days and then on the fritz again...not able to send msgs or cmts. Yesterday and today it seems fine... tomorrow??? who knows
seems like they changed a lot of things! page navigation especially. give them another 2 weeks and it'll be changed again
Did you actually look at the mySpace section where it lists those who you've sent requests to to see if they actually got them, aka, did they show up in the section? You could make requests 24/7 if you wanted to, but if they don't show up there, they didn't go through, usually when you get to around 500, while the program continues making requests. I was once going to try going on much longer than 500 requests, but stoped when they stoped showing up on the page, aka, got locked out.
hey , I basically just said the same thing!!! http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=1914891&postcount=251
I just let it go and do its thing. Never checked pending requests, but still, I'm pretty sure myspace can see the continuous page loads. Just thought it was funny how that account hasn't been banned.
They are more worried about message spammers than friend adding. To send messages you only need to create a new account and start sending to random people. Those are in the middle of the crackdown.
