Guess Who's Joining the $100+ club in T-83 days?

....Or at least that's the plan anyway. I realise that this is far from original but I thought I'd take on a challenge of my own mainly as a kick up the ass.

The plan is to create 50 websites in 50 days. Each of these sites will make $2 on average a day within 90 days. I originally set it to 100 websites in 50 days but I soon found out it was pretty unworkable and that the sites I winded up creating were god awful.

Just as a bit of background, I'm currently earning approximately $5-8 a day from Adsense. That level has remained approximately the same for AGES. It's as if I've hit a plateau or something.

So anyway, that's why I've started this challenge. It isn't going to plan so far. I've only created 5 sites in 7 days and with the Christmas season coming up I'm in a bit of trouble. I'm determined to make it though!

What'll make it that little bit harder is that I'm trying to create something beyond basic mini-sites which is proving difficult at the moment - what with having to manage a full time job and all.

Anyway, I thought this might be of interest to a few people. It would be good to hear about some of your own challenges with Adsense and how they worked for you.

I'm keeping track of my progress in the blog which is in my signature. Here's hoping that this will payoff!

Wow, good luck! I personally am launching a site soon, and am going for quality, not quantity.

To me, its based on traffic. It does not matter whether you have 50 sites or 5, in the end, what will matter is how much traffic you generate between those sites. You can probably make just as much from 5 sites that you will from 50.

Good luck with your aim! I'm personally not too good to keeping up with what I aim for although I try, and hope to get better in the future. It's all about motivation; now that today I got a few more .$$ from my site than usual, I wrote 5 new articles today instead of just 1-2, hoping to get more visitors, heh.

Yeah I guess it's about developing sites with enough potential to work. I want to create 50 small sites that will organically grow so that somewhere down the line I'll be aiming to make $10 a day from each.

This is all about putting a plan into action. I'm only motivated in small bursts and I usually need to put something like this into being to become motivated enough.......

That's great, I find it hard following up on something like that though. The day after I'll only write 1 article and the next day none and I'll crash and start thinking "is this actually worth it?"

Focus counts for a hell of a lot and at the moment I have something behind my target which is helping to make it that little bit easier.

Past building them, how will you promote them that quickly?

It'll be an ongoing process. I'm spending each weekend promoting that weeks websites. The last 40 days will be a drive. I'll be weeding out websites that won't work during this period too and focusing solely on those that will perform well. Hoping to keep the amount of scrapped sites down to a bare minimum though.....

I would rather have 1 or 2 websites, concentrate on them and try to make them an authority in my niche. 50 websites are hard to administrate by one person only and I don't think you will be able to succeed on a long term.

I agree, I'd rather have one very good site then a lot of small article sites.

Writing 5 articles a day, is that even possible? I guess it may be if you work at this thing for around 12 hours a day and the length is pretty short.

Sounds like a good BH SEO starting plan. Ease up on yourself and get a pages generator from some BH forum. A bit of design work and no one will ever tell they`re generated and meant to be adsense spam :D

Actually it is possible. It usually takes me 30-40 minutes to write an article (this includes research). The secret is to find a good source of constant content which you can than modify.

Of course. You would write your own comments maybe quote a phrase from the original article when appropriate.

I think that striking a balance between quality and quantity is important. If you place all of your work in one site then there is every chance that revenue could dry up from that avenue. Similarly revenue might never come if you create a lot of barely marketable spam sites.

I'm experimenting now with various niches that I can hopefully later expand and focus more readily upon.

That's not in my immediate plans though. I'm trying to build my sites infrastructure around unique (and hopefully interesting) concepts that I can easily expand if needs be in the future.

to be successful with site building, many are shifting more time towards web promotion than building the site itself.
