Mail from Google: Pending payment

I had mailed them for reissuing a check which they will do it this month, but you are going to get paid for a check you are already paid

Ha ha ha!! No no. Its not that. But its like one year old, so I don't remember.

 

Got the same email. Very surprised if I have any uncashed checks. Checked all the header info and it sure looks like it came from Google including the IP address. Contacted Google through the Adsense help form to confirm this is legit. Will post regarding their reply.

 

Then you ARE making a lot. I remember every single cent I make. No joke with that at all. lol

 

I got a reply. They said it is legit. So I'm going to be getting a (probably small) Christmas present in the way of a reissued check that I didn't know I had not cashed.

 

Yes. The email was legit. I had a check of $763.45 lying with them from Feb 2005. Thank you Google. You made my day.

 

Who cares if it's from Google or not? The reply address is from google.com so what is the problem? Whatever you send there won't go to someone else unless your PC has been hacked, in which case you can't find help here. Sometimes I can't believe how few people are able to use some COMMON SENSE.

Did anyone ever receive one of these checks? I just realized I had forgotten all about it. I emailed G asking what happened to the mystery uncashed check they were going to reissue.

 

Yes. I did receive my check in the month of January.
