This page was created 5 hours ago and already has a pagerank of 3, what the heck is going on?

maybe Google is having problems with the dynamic URL. All their posts seem to have PR. That is very strange...

?t=12345 is a PR3 and there isnt even any such post there yet... It must be getting the PR from viewtopic.php... I think

To me it sounds like a tiered system of trust in which some parts of some sites may automatically get assigned page rank. Granted not all threads at DP are awesome but many of them deserve at least PR1 ;)

Its not very simple guys

This url must have been previously PR3 so those dcs which are still showing old PR are showing it PR3
    http://digpagerank.com/index.php?url=http://www.descentbb.net/viewtopic.php?t=11566&dc=17

but those DCz which have been updated are showing PR0

    http://digpagerank.com/index.php?url=http://www.descentbb.net/viewtopic.php?t=11566&dc=14

    :)

And even non-existent pages from this url have PR3

You are so correct. It has been this way for years. New pages on sites like Yahoo, CNN and other trusted sites are given page rank, immediately, because they are trusted by Google and other search engines as authority sites because they don’t play games with search engines. The only way to compete with these giants is for your site to be trusted as well and that takes years of hard work with no funny business and/or quick PR tricks along the way. Any site can become a trusted site if the site owner is patient and doesn't resort to silly PR games for quick results which are followed by huge penalties and mistrust among the insiders at search engines. Instead of trying to "get rich quick", take a five year approach to your web site development with quality content and natural backlinks will come your way. Eventually, your site will be trusted, too and at that point the sky is the limit as long as your website remains pure and void of manipulation tactics.

if the base URL has PR then any of the URL's with querystring variables on them will also have PR. Simple as that.
