Just a quick question for the seo gurus on here. Suppose you have a domain name called xyzhotels.com and you also own xyzhotels.co.uk. Suppose you have populated 1000 hotels from around the World into the dot.com Would it be advantageous to the setup the dot.co.uk domain name with the same database of 1000 hotels. Then set within goo webmaster tools the geographic target for the dot.com as the USA and then set for the dot.co.uk the UK. Or would this be a disadvantage and been seen by goo as duplicate content. The domain content would eventually change for both as the sites allow users to add their own businesses. Thank you
It would be terrible for your website if the content of both the domains becomes somewhat same. Else both your domains would be marked as spam by search engines. It is good to have both .com and .co.uk domains but you should keep their content different.
