I don't recommend using link wheel for SEO purpose unless you have uniques content. Instead you should try some other techniques like social bookmarking websites, PR sites, Social media websites etc. to increase website backlinks.

Friend, you will save yourself a lot of trouble just by changing the occupation on your profile page from 'SEO analyst' to something like 'SEO noob'. It will appear more consistent with the questions you are asking and moreover doesn't take even a minute to get done. A person working as an SEO analyst knows quite a lot about SEO as he/she has to implement various kinds of strategies to improve and maintain the client's online business and I guess you've barely started your 'analysis'.

They read everything their "peers" publish and do so critically.
