Contest $50 Logo contest. VERY simple Logo 48 hours

I need a Simple, Minimalist, CRISP, Easy to read logo for a generic domain name.

Logo should be Say "MMOs(dot)com" without the (dot) obviously and a . instead.

Theme: Video games. No characters in the logo. It has to be SIMPLE and PLAIN, while still being clearly readable/eye catching. Logo will be used as a WATERMARK on pictures. Games.com has a simple logo, but I don't really like the font, but it shows what I mean when I say simple. Can experiment a bit and get fancy. I'll give comments/feedback.

Colors I like: Red/Blue/Green/Black. Don't use more than 2-3 colors though. Logo will appear on a white background, so keep that in mind when designing. 3 colors may be too much even.

KEY THINGS: Must be EASY to read and SLEEK looking. Will be using it as a watermark often so it must be simple/easy to read. The .com will be in the logo too.

Will pay winner by paypal. Have run many contests here before.

@MonsterDesign I like your top one the so far, but it seems too... businessy. The .com looks good, the S is "okay" but it could easily be missed in a watermark.

@onlyfights Looks way too Web 1.0... Like a very old website, BUT I DO like that it's VERY easy to read and can't be confused for anything else.

 

"It has to be SIMPLE and PLAIN" was just going by the directions.

 

You did a good job making it easy to read, but it looks very old. It should look more modern.

@mkels It's okay, but nothing impressive. The S could easily get confused for something else.

@CEmarketer Yes I am =). I like the squarish ones better. Clear and crisp, but the "S" looks like a 5, maybe make it smaller like other submissions?

@Santacruz Interesting, but the games i'm focusing on are on PC exclusively.... so the controller doesn't make much sense.

@MrPhotoshop 90 Too simple I think. Not sure what the .com part is supposed to be? Controllers aren't relevant as site is PC games only.

@remus94 Looks good on the watermark, but still very weird to have that line across the text, Play around with it some more maybe?

@muddy786 I like #1 on the watermarks. But bit odd with Black and blue alternating colors... The font makes the M look a tad odd though... #4 I sorta like, but having a box around it seem not very modern... Your #1 and #3 look excellent on watermarks though. Alternating colors look odd on #3 too. You have some interesting ideas though I like some of yours. #2 i'm not crazy about... but it does look easy to read, so I'm not ruling it out just yet.

@RavenDesigns Good concept. I like it, but very difficult to read clearly.

@prasoon Controller doesn't make sense, it's pc games only.

I like some of these. Will definitely pick a winner somewhere on this thread. Revisions/new ideas are welcome!

@muddy786 I like them #1 I like it. Don't love it just yet, but i really like it. #2 the arrow is silly, otherwise I like it. #3/#4 are a no go. If possible make slight tweaks to #1/#2 so I can just see slightly different versions. I do really like yours so far.
