I am thinking about creating link wheel for one of my website, so just wanted to ask whether this a legitimate SEO technique to boost website ranking? Does it really work?
Seriously?? According to your profile you are an "SEO Analyst" and you are asking whether building a link wheel is a legitimate SEO technique, do us all a favour and back the fuck away from the keyboard.
This is a new concept for me, I thought I could get a good advice from experienced members who like to share their knowledge unlike you.
So what exactly do you do in your occupation as an "SEO analyst"? If that really was your occupation you would know that link wheels are an outdated method that will see your site slapped into oblivion by every search engine.
Link wheels do not work. Link wheels are the best way to have your site deleted from the search engines databases.
link wheel is one such design where several relevant themed websites get together and generate a circle of links.
I think the idea of the thread was people to say if this SEO technique still works, not what's Link Wheel, but no problem at all! By the way, my idea would be, you can try it, but be sure to write UNIQUE content... You should do it really well which is difficult, but I wouldn't do this at all!
link wheels problem is that you exchange links between your websites (hosted in the same server or IP group). Search engines notice this and penalize your websites.
I don't think, Some Months ago I move my some sites in another hosting with new IPs but my sites still are live without any penalty at google, yahoo, bing etc. When any search engine penalize sites that was no mean to change hosting or IPs. They effect many of other thinks.
Even if the man's suggestion is false, it does not mean that he is to be called a retard but instead they should be educated on how to do it properly. You know even less.
Where in my post did I call him a "retard"? Do you not think someone who claims his occupation as an "SEO analyst"(whatever that is) would know all about link wheels? You know fuck all about me.
Some say that building your own PBN is effective. Although, a lot of PBNs took a nose dive after the recent update. If you do it, you need to take the time to learn how to do it right. It's a lot of work and it isn't cheap, but it could be the answer you're looking for especially if you were actually considering a link wheel.
True, but they're both dangerous, outdated methods. The only thing I would use a pyramid on is a YouTube video, Facebook page, etc.
Creating a link wheel with spun and unoriginal content is dead, but creating a link wheel with unique content is basically a PBN (assuming it has older domain age, quality backlinks from outside the spoke).
