What is your favorite esports and why? My favorite esports is league of legends because its the only pro scene where I am on edge cheering for my favorite team.
League of Legends. But with asian teams jumped in - its all over. This year championship was really boring. Especially the finals. I didnt get any emotions, cause winner was obvious from the beginning - SSW. USA and European teams are far away in skill level atm, and they gotta change a lot to catch up with level of asian players. Yes, USA and Europe teams do have some interesting strategies, but they are definitely lack of teamplay and personal skill. The thing about asian players success - is non-stop training program, almost 16 hours per day during a year. If other teams start to train harder - they'll catch 'em. For example, Gambit Gaming last year showed us, that koreans can be defeated by pure outplaying and strategy. So, if situation will no change next season, LoL as esport discipline will die and turn to another korean regional challenge.
socksproxy I completely agree with you. Everyone knew who was going to win as soon as the group stage was over. NA & EU teams train 10 hours a day while Korean teams train 15 hours a day. Plus the Korean teams outplay their opponents with really good strategies. I don't know if the little tricks NA & EU teams have is enough even if they trained as many hours as the Koreans. Maybe when esports go mainstream here in the USA the NA teams will finally get their head in the game like the Koreans.
I don't blame you. I am starting to get into the CSGO pro scene myself. The shots the pros pull off I could only get by pure luck of the guy walking into the bullet. lol
Yeah, every gun has a different bullet pattern so you have to study a bit to get good. (weird thing to say about a video game lol)
Its not weird at all. The way games are these days you need to study to become better. That's what make pros stand out from the noobs. lol
i have chosen Counter Strike. I have played it since i was 10 years old, i grew up playing this game with my friends. Such a great game
