    it could be real BUT there is a 'mask' line around the rocks....something has been changed...could be just the contrast/saturation of the sky however.

    zoom in to about 500-700% and there is a line all the way around the rocks following the sky...

    edit: actually there is some pixelation near the base of the rocks as well

    Austars you mean you're name isn't really AU Stars?, I had you for an aussie all this time!!!

    That photo looks real enough and I've seen plenty of places that it could be from. A bit red for Turkey I'd have thought, but central USA has some candidates as I'd have thought Africa would.

    A quick google search comes up with http://g.ozq8.com/categories.php?cat_id=647 but my english only education leaves me poorly equipped to translate :)

    You are right..
    Actually the sky is fake.. its a gradient, not the real sky.. someone has copied the cliffs and pasted it on a nice sky gradient with 2 pixel feather. The mask line is due to that.

    Photoshop work..

    No real. sun is in front but the shadow on left rock doesn't make sense. Also the sky is not real.
