A couple years ago, put some ads on a borderline site. Got banned from Adsense. Appealed and denied. Is there a chance of me ever getting an Adsense account again?
All you can do is appeal the original banning and as that failed, it is extremely unlikely you will be allowed back as bans are for life. BUT, you do not get usually get banned for putting the adsense code on a "borderline" or non-guidelines compliant site. What normally happens is that ad-serving to that site is disabled and you are warned to check other sites that you use the code on. Can you post the exact wording that was in the email from Google.
What is ironic is that the site was not serving porn. It was 99% youtube videos! Was also on WP with the Suffusion theme and 300 word original content posts.
That is basically Google's polite way of telling you that your site sucks. That was probbaly the real problem. It is against YouTube's policies to monetize a site that consists mostly of embedded YT videos.
Ok. But again. That is NOT the question in the original post. So I'll ask it again - is there any other way to get an Adsense account?
There is always a chance, but it is a very slim one. Persistence and the time since the offense is the key.
..and just as easy to get banned again, this forums full of dickheads who think they're cleverer than Google, none of them are
OP. Its impossible for you to get another account, as doing so immediately breaches the adsense TOS. There are people that try all sorts of "clever" things to get around this, and they *might* get away with it short term, but not that many of them will ever actually get a payout from adsense. Its just not worth it. Once google bans you, short of trying their appeal process, there is nothing you can do. Google seems to hold grudges for life, and on that note, I think you will find that "Stephen Colbert" will now always be 5' 10.5".....
It is surely difficult to get a new account with an existing ban. Atleast its not impossible. The question is, do you have a website with unique and high quality content with reasonable amount of quality traffic? If you do, you'll need a name change (Unless your name is super common or apply as a company maybe if you own one), a change of physical address and IP address (and perhaps email address not linked to your banned account) among other things before you apply. Even without a ban, getting an adsense approval does not come easy these days.
Yeah, I don't recommend it at all! DICKHEADS!....bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahaha! Skin it son!
That's not a recommendation....lol Just said it was easy to get another account.. Anyway, thanks for looking out!
