Facebook app or website . Which one you create?

Hi,

I'm under a lot of thinking on creating few good ideas. But I'm constantly questioning whether to create a facebook app or a website.

Pros of website:
1. Earning money.
2. Extra potential of selling.

Cons
1. Maintenance.
2. Marketing and SEO
3. Server cost.
4. Lots of technical knowledge.


Have you ever thought in similar lines and what is your thoughts?

 

Creating ( or get created by someone else ) a website is always a better option. You have more control and ownership.
For example : what if after some time due to some issue facebook bans you or your app?

 

My apologies but I am a bit confused by your query.
What do you mean by creating a facebook app? Is it something like a game designed for facebook?

 

@xcesslogic was right, its better to be your own boss. if i were you i'd go for a website

 

I personally like the idea of creating a website. But hey, why can't you promote your facebook on your website, along with your other products or services? You will only promote one offer at a time to your website visitors. But if your programming skills are awesome, give it a shot. Me personally, i would create the site and make the great money (and control) that can come with it.
