Hello Everyone, I need your help. I want to develop my website and someone offering me guest post on Premium Websites like Forbes, HufftonPost,. What is your opinion about that? As the price is very expensive. And are $1500-$2000 each post is normally? Regards, Peter
Hey Peter Too much if you ask me.. You can build a whole kingdom of backlinks for that money. And I'm not talking about low quality ones. They are as cheap as hell but doesn't bring anything but that's not my point. I'm talking about quality backlinks.. A lot of them for that money. My point is: it's not only about the source of the backlinks. It is also about the number, diversity, PR etc.. Forbes and Huffton Post backlinks will get you instant boost but what you are going to do long term? You have nothing to rely on. That's only two links from those sources. To sum up: $1500 for a post is just too much. Never pay that much for a single link or a post or anything similar.
So the point is $1500 is too much expensive? maybe thats just 2 link from forbes/hufftonpos, but they sites have very much traffic and have very good quality...
Too much. Even for those websites. I know those websites have enormous traffic but if you are looking to build a website that will rank for multiple keywords, paying $1500 for a link or two won't get you far. Yeah, instant boost in traffic is sure but you need more links from multiple platforms in order to rank for multiple keywords (especially if they are competitive). If your goal is only instant boost in traffic that could result in more money immediately, then it's worth it. But I'm not so sure this is such type of situation.
Then i just want to buy 1-2 posts from premium websites and bring to another way.. thanks for the advice..
I think you have never heard of Prweb, this service can send your press release to many big news website, even yahoo! news for just around $250. This is my own choice for a new launch website. If you just pay for a single link, it doesnot make sense for a long time as your articles would be down when the author keeps publishing more news.
Like Yuka said for $1500-$2000 in a PBN you could rank for pretty good keywords. I'd like the idea of a Forbes link "if" you were in some sort of financial niche, and were already established. The Forbes link would then just seal-the-deal on your rankings
Money is relative. Big companies think 1500 bucks is but a drop in the bucket. Small companies and cheap webmasters? Just hate to spend anything much to advertise. And think, go to google adwords and 1500 bucks may only get you 150 clicks! Or less, depending on the keywords.
I disagree with the majority of people who posted here that $1500 is too much. If you do visibility in the Huffington Post or Forbes, then this is well worth it. It will expose your site to a very large audience. You'll get much more traffic than you would get if you spend that same amount of money with Adwords and other PPC networks. Best of all, that article will stay online and will keep bringing you traffic from months to come.
Maybe it is not direct traffic driven source, however you would get a lot of target traffic when the post rank high in the search engine result page, you know those PR sites have high authority and authority in the google 's "eyes", so it's easier to rank than normal website.
With $1500, you can buy loads of authority sites links and can rank in top 10 easily(which is the motive for each backlink campaign).
Hi my advise is to build up a few links at a time maybe the lower page rank first and then build up links to higher page ranking sites, l have found that this seems to work ok
$1500 is a high price but the sites - They are TOP sites. Depends upon your priorities, if you have like $15,000 advertising budget. GET it done! these links are of great value! And if you have like $2500 budget, seek other options!
