Paypal Newbie question

    Hi Friends,

    This is my first post to DP. I have recently started freelancing work and I have got enough funds in my paypal account to withdraw. But I have one basic query and I am hoping you guys will help me out.

    When I clicked on "Request a cheque from paypal", I got an option of entering the amount. There, first name field (Aakash) is editable while last name field (Sharma) is read only. I just want to know on what name Paypal will send this cheque. Will it be "Aakash Sharma" or "Sharma Aakash" or something else?

    It really does not matter whether it is Aakash sharma or Sharma Aakash. I was having same problem as in india accounts starts from first name while registering on paypal I too had given my sirname first.

    So dont worry.

    Paypal will send at par cheque , so it will be considered as local bank cheque and minimum withdrawl amount is 150$.

    yeah that is fine but they will send me cheque on the name of "Aakash Sharma" or "Sharma Aakash". I just want to know before withdrwing the funds from PP.

    Yes it matters. The name should be same as it is in your bank account where it is going to be cashed. If there is any problem in name, you can not cash the cheque.

    1 sort of a similar newbie question

    for paypal verification,a credit card is needed right?
    and of the same sirname..
    my question is tat..
    will it be okay if i use my dad's credit card for paypal acc. verification?
    and if i do so.. could i be able to use a different bank account. or different mode for reciept of payments? or everything will be sent at my dad's acc. or dad's name?

    please answer this question
