    hi - I want to create a thread with worthwhile marketing techniques used by everyone in 2014, with the the G. upgrades but can be anything - even off-line marketing, I know enough myself it might sound weird but still wondering what works and what doesn't work for everyone else, lets make a TOP 100 marketing ideas list ... this should be useful for the entire forum ;)

    Please interesting, worthwhile techniques not just useless/old school that does not fit in nowadays.

    In whatever form of advertising I am doing either it is paid or free I use email marketing techniques.


    If you simply want to grow your business online and make the most on every penny you spend in advertising, the best profitable and worth spending is in the email list building strategies of your laser targeted prospects that soon to become your buyers. Because these people are the one looking for you.

    A good rule of thumb to have an effective email marketing campaign is to always be willing to learn, grow, and adapt. If you are running an email campaign it is pretty obvious that you want your subscribers to click and open your email otherwise what is the use of having a huge mailing lists if you cannot convert your leads into sales?

    An effective PR campaign (offline and online) can be a great way to build market awareness and generate high quality leads. It is a lot of work, but does not require any investment. Done well, it can be a very successful marketing technique in 2014 or any year.

    I'd go with social media marketing. This may require a lot of time and effort but the returns are overwhelming! :)

    I will add word of mouth marketing in the list (get your site exposed whever you can online) branding is the most important after all. = (returning traffic)

    Relationship Networking for off-line. Actually meeting with people, learning about them and their business, creating referral partners and strategic alliances through that knowledge and relationship that is built. It is a long term investment, but can definitely be worth it.
