Payment for this contest will be made via paypal, contest will last for a few days...or when we get a submission that we really like. What we need is a logo for a Church Small Group ministry that is different than the current logo below, but that also retains the same "feel" so that it doesn't look out of place on our website. The Small Group ministry will be called "Community Groups", so what you do from there is up to you, we are looking for the best concept that fits what we are trying to achieve. We are NOT changing the logo for the church (shown above). We are branding the "Community Groups" ministry with a separate, but similar, logo. The logo should be simple, elegant, and inspirational as well as using the same/similar color scheme as the Church logo itself. ---------- You may post your submissions here or PM them to me. So we need a logo image, along with the text "Community Groups" or "The Pines Community Groups"
Not sure if I didn't clarify enough, I'll have to edit the first post a bit I guess. Thank you for your submission, but I think you misunderstood. We are looking for a logo for our "Community Groups" ministry, not a new logo for the Church itself. The logo that I included was just showing what our Church logo is...it is not being changed.
This is the one I'm liking the most so far, though it's hard to tell that it's a "CG", almost looks like an "OG" This one is a start as well, but might look a bit too different than our current branding to be of use. @everyone else. They all look a bit too "churchy", we don't need/want church buildings/steeples involved in the image.
Sorry for the delay folks, had to have some discussions with the team. Here's what we think. We like this one, but would prefer if the building did not include a steeple...so it looks more like a house instead of a church. Also, we feel the trees look a bit too cliparty and doesn't really match the "style" of our main logo. The concept we like though. The top is an improvement, but could still use something a bit more. We don't like the font of the bottom one. Could you try keeping the font of the first one, and moving the C higher than the G and overlapping them abit more? And possibly a second version similar to the current submission but where the C is on top of the G instead of under it (so the edges of the C are slighly on top of the G)? We like this one as well, but would love to see it look as if there is a C inside the G? So maybe the inside of the G shape could contain the C itself (slightly lighter shade of green maybe), and then the tree inside of that?
