How to promote Local Keywords ?

I have client who want promote his site only in One State !
Should I use his address on Meta Title or I have to use local Keywords only !

I check your site and analysis there is lack of on page optimization as well as your are not getting ranking on related keywords !
You have to select the best keywords according to your target location. You can use google adwords keywords tool for keywords analysis or paid wordtracker. One more thing I suggest make a list of your top competitors and do bench marking it will help you more ! Keep in mind when do off page link building only do high quality link building I mean you have to get a back link from high page rank sites!

No, you can not use the address in title. Use your keywords with target city or your local area. For example if you want to promote your business in New Jersey, the use title like this : ..your target keywords in New jersey etc. it specifies that, you are promoted locally.

For getting good local keywords, please go for new Ad words keywords planner . .It will give good meaningful keywords for local search

Find the right keywords that customers use to find locally
For local business create a reasonable amount of high quality content
Create or claim your local listings

Be sure you include:

The name of your company or business
The address where your business is located
Your primary phone number
A geo sitemap
Business on Google Local

 

Try to get the text links from the websites from this state.

 

Make a list of website related local keywords, participate in classifieds,discussions, communities. Create a Google+ Business page with business related images, once it is done according to the Google guidelines, you will get customized URL of your brand name, also you can create keyword based Google+ business page. First of all, add the site to google+ and google maps, verify your location. In G+ create not only page account for the site, but a group too. As for the on page seo - any title should have the state in it and brand name, f.e. "My main keyword. Company Name. The State." And try not to overcome 60 characters in title...
