    It is an old thread and I am sure Google has a very robust monitoring system to weed out those kinds of frauds.

    You can't be signing up on forums everywhere warning people just because you are spooked by this old stuff?

    Yeah, but you sounded like you had some sort of inside knowledge. Instead it's just a prophecy that at some time in the future Google may take action that will close the site down.

    My prophecy is that they are aware that it's happening at fiverr and the multitude of clones and blackhat forums and probably even here so they'll develop detection systems to close the service users down rather than the site providing access to the service.

    See, I live in NZ where our local political scene is dominated by a fat oaf that the Hollywood studios are trying to have extradited to the US on piracy charges. We have an extradition agreement but the fat oaf has an awesome legal team and has been able to fool the naive and gullible that he is a folk hero saving us from god knows what. The fat oaf was giving his website's users financial incentives to break the law.

    Now, I'm not a fiverr user but I seriously doubt anywhere on the site do they say "come and list your dodgy sales". They enable the dodgy sales but I seriously doubt they do give an incentive to do a dodgy deal rather than a clean deal.

    Fiverr may be guilty of inadequate moderation etc etc but I seriously doubt they actually break Googles TOS. The don't appear to run adsense ads and they do pay for adwords.

    The claims you make aren't sufficient for them to be manually downgraded in the SERPs. The problem is with the buyers and sellers and I'd be more worried about fiverr releasing sensitive information about both on request.

    dude, I do not see how fiverr having users sell specific things will force google to sue them. Fiverr may have to take care to remove these things, in fact, while you might occasionally see a gig offering "improve your alexa rank" they did at one stage remove all these sorts of gigs -> if you see a gig like this slip through, just report it and its gone. Sellers who keep trying to do a banned gig can have their accounts closed.

    I do not know if they are restricting other gigs, and neither do I care, but if fiverr was to change its policy and prevent all these gigs, then its the sellers that provide those services that will be closed.

    If you really are worried, have you tried to contact fiverr and ask them how they are addressing the situation at hand?

    Well , you're wrong . Do you have any beef with fiverr ? Anyways fiverr is soon launching an tv ad in the united states . Can't wait to see it and i don't need to withdraw money from fiverr and you need to stop spreading false news about fiverr and make some useful posts instead.
