    Simple answer is. Google doesn't consider no-follow link. Never hit your website just bcoz of no-follow link. Do-follow link Google consider and if irrelevent google will hit you.

    What would be the point of having a no-follow link. I see on Digital Point the links are no-follow. Does that mean that there is no Google juice at all being passed on?

    Try making a website and build 500 dofollow links to it. Then, when your website gets penalized, you will see why overdoing something good can turn out to be bad. They key here is balance and making your link scheme look natural ;)
