2-3 blog posts a month. More you write = more traffic you get.
At the time when i used to post 5 times a week , blog traffic reached 30k/month

How much it costs to run?

I never advertised this blog. All traffic comes from search engines or directly (techinfographics.com name always shown on our infographics), so you need to pay only for your hosting plan.

Million dolar question : why am I selling ?

I am running 5 blogs at the same time.
I am fully employed and have a regular job 9-5 weekdays.
24hrs is not enough for me....
Design is my passion and i do it with love, but I am moving to my next projects and I won't have as much time as i used to. There are so many ways how you can generate much more money on this blog, but I simply don't have enough time and need more money for other online investments.

Suggestions

Here are few ideas how to increase revenue (easily):

• Paid infographics submissions (I receive many emails from other designers asking to publish their infographics.)
• Create more your own templates or bundles
• Create marketplace for other designers to sell their work via this website
• Provide custom infographic design services
• Sell graphic design software and etc

if anyone will be interested i will provide proof of revenue and other details.

Thanks for your reply and interest. I will try to keep it clear:
1) Competition - this one is a really wide question. Since the beginning of this small project , I thought it would be a niche site. Fortunately infographics popularity grew so much (and still growing very fast), that it's not a niche anymore but very popular topic worldwide.
Competition in infographics blogs - Coolinfographics.com used to be a top leading blog for infographics. This site run by Randy Krum was one of the first ones blogging about infographics. Not surprisingly it has very high authority and PR rank. But unfortunately it's quite boring(yet extremely professional!) as it only provides "dry data" and tools without taking into consideration design. No service, no templates, not attractiveness to a new customers. Good to read and learn but no use....
Hubspot.com - below is the screenshot of Hubspot fund rising. It would be insane to put multimillion website in competition, but if you would search in google for "powerpoint infographic templates" or similar top search phrases , Techinfographics.com comes equally on the 1st Google page, with couple positions below.You can decide yourself it's an achievement or not... Same with Visual.ly and other visual information giants.

Infogr.am - and similar online tools. They offer free service with their logo watermarks and limited possibilities to customize your infographic.
Envato group has a strongest position. But instead of going against them Techinfographics partnership with Envato offering their sales through our marketplace. That being said, as I suggested, you can offer more your own products.
No competition - Unique single slide Powerpoint templates. Techinfographics offer unique (you can browse internet and if you -or anyone who is reading this reply - will find single slide powerpoint infographic templates (aprox dims 1500x6700) i will pay $12 to anyone. That's how confident i am about this product uniquess.Why PPT or Keynote? Simple - anyone has Powerpoint or Keynote and it's extremely easy to use, while AE or Adobe illustrator requires advanced set of skills.
I can keep going writing but more info if you will have more questions...
2)Maintenance - if you are referring to website and content management - Wordpress is one of the most popular CMS in the world. Almost everything might be achievable within admin control panel (with clear instructions) without touching the code. I would suggest to visit Wordpress official site and read more or even give it a free try.

Hi, that's correct. All payments made via paypal and going directly into your paypal account. Yes , as you can see in the video , email list of previous purchase is also available+ subscribers emails list. I believe in total would be around 300 to 400 emails data base.

 

Envato also pays out to your paypal account twice a month on the 1st or 15th
