I get an error message when I try to BIN today. I bought yesterday and didn't have a problem.

I don't sell....I'm strictly buying. Why does it force me to link my accounts and further....why does it not recognize the PayPal third party API approval?

    Errors...

    The following error occurred:
This sale requires potential buyers to have a linked premium or business PayPal account. You can link your account over here.

I've gone through the steps, and even checked my PayPal and it's connected.

Do you own a premium or business PayPal account?

If the answer to first question is yes, is that the account you tried to link?

You need to more than assume, you need to know. Login to your PP account and below "Welcome, XXX Name" it will show the account type. If it's not Premier or Business then click upgrade. Any problems, contact PP.

And you don't see a problem with the requirement that buyers have to link their PayPal account just to purchase? My initial reaction was to decline when I seen that it gave DP the ability to track transaction history.

I have a hard time believing this is the intent (that only business accounts on PayPal can buy here).....if it is, I have no idea why. People buy things using PayPal all over the world without the site requiring a premium or Business account.

Dude, you can still buy. Just send the seller a message.

Future ref - you have to add the step "switch to PayPal classic"....otherwise your tip doesn't work.

And yes....it's a business account although as I said above....I fail to see the logic. I had to make the BIN deal through skype/email. Driving the purchase off site hurts the sellers, it places buyers at risk.
