Over 1000 uniques in one day, Not much adsense though

I have a website that on some days it can get up to 1000 visitors but not many clicks on the ads. I will say the site is about soccer in Spanish and I still try to optimize but not much result. Should i call it quits with adsense and try something new?

1,000 unique visitors... you should get at least 1 click. Maybe you need to change ad placement location in your website. You need to do experiment yourself... test... test... test...

 

Check your ad placements. Place it on visible areas under the fold of your website.

 

1 thousands visitors can give you at least $5.00 as i get 1000+ visitors and hit $5.00++ per day. So i suggest you to right ad placement to increase CTR and ad competition. Over post title and below post title, before navigation menu have higher chance of both clicks, CTR and CPC.

 

Where are you getting your figures from? An RPM of $5 I would love to see you with an RPM of $5.

 

Your ad placement and font/sizes are the most important things on your blog or site when it comes to adsense.

There's no better paying network than adsense, so if I were you I would just stick with Google.

Yes they're human, What I do is I funnel visitors from a FB page that has over 20,000 fans. I post nice images and a good article and I get that many visitors for that posts. I do get clicks but they're like 2 or 5 cents per click and not that many clicks. Thanks for the advice

 

You need to analyze the source of your traffic (geo-targeting) as well, there are plenty of low paying advertisers in dozens of countries.

try to change your ad placement , and take care of where your traffic are coming from , botted traffic will never click ads and google staff will detect it and ban your adsense account ...

 

Google is a bitch these days, everyone knows that (Adsense still pays) however the ranking algos have f*ucked everything up, even the bigger player have lost important amounts of money because of their last algo moves.

And ya, the RPM of my blog/website is $0.19 , CPC $0.34 and page CTR is 0.06% .60% of my traffic comes from UK and USA and i get around 1200 visitors daily.

 

Your site is not working mate. But Adsense is really effective thing to make money online. Just follow adsense's guidelines. Implement strategies daily, try with different ad placement and you'll succeed one day.

 

Yes, correct. You should re-arrange your ads. Use Text & Image Ads both.

 

Also, block the ads which are irrelevant to your content.
