Is Article Submission still working for SEO

I totally agree with you that earlier article websites used to rank, but not now. SO, according to you... article submission is only for traffic but not for backlinks... can you please elaborate on this.. :-p

Haha.. Matt says also Don't do SEO still you are doing naa.. Article submission is the best way to increase traffic on a website.

 

You must be used blog,article,press news,social bookmarking etc.you can achieved inbound links any high PR website, only content must be related to your business domain.

 

What are you basing your claims on? Show us the facts, with proven sites.

 

If your article is unique and interesting, people will visit your site which you inserted your website link at the footer of the article or your profile. You can not insert links in the body for any good article websites (your keywords) anymore, so where will you get your backlink and ranking from if there is no backlinks in your article. Plus search for any keyword see which article site come up, almost nothing. But article websites has traffic still, which you can use to your advantage.

I noticed here a lot of people claim they are SEO experts, but they barely know anything. They just read a seo article on some site without checking the date that article was published or testing the SEO for themselves, and they come here and claim to be masters of SEO. My suggestion is read the sites that rank and has proven record of SEO and they rank themselves on top in a competitive market like the keyword SEO, SEM, and so on. Not a kid that has the domain name redshoes.com and ranking on top for red shoes on google, and he thinks he now knows SEO.

Always read new things on SEO and test it and test it again to see it work and then suggest it others and give advise. By the way I am not an SEO expert or claim to be one, but just do my research here and there.

Please elaborate what these "web 2.0 properties" are. It always amazes me when I see this term being used by individuals without a clue what "web 2.0" even means.

For the record, the term "web 2.0" was popularized by Tim O'Reilley in a brainstorm session that discussed the dot com crash of 2000. Those websites that survived this crash were referred to as "web 2.0" sites, while those that didn't were considered web 1.0 sites.

In reality, web 2.0 actually refers to websites that do more than serve up static pages. Because all modern websites fall into this category, statements like this one are essentially meaningless...

 

Yes, Article submission is still work for seo. If you have great content on your site that's the best way to increase traffic and get more readers and more customers.

After the webmaster video about article submission by Matt Cutt people still using article submission for back-links. But in my point of view most article submission sites are spammy and that they are enough to harm your site and some of them takes you to death.

 

We can use high pr sites for the backlinks...
