Too fine resolution?

    Hello,

I'm looking into buying this refurbished laptop from ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/131107690587?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT.

What worries me is that under display it says "1920x1080 HD Ultra Sharp Anti-Glare LED Display." My dad's older (few years old) laptop has a 1920x1200 display. His display is very clear, but the text is so small it hurts my eyes to read. I have fears that this screen on this laptop will be the same way. Any thoughts?

I got my hands on a high resolution computer to see the screen resolution before buying. It'll do. Problem solved!

Just keep in mind you can make the resolution less to make text size larger! I have a 1080p on my desktop and it really rocks!

Exactly. Resolution is not set in stone. Even though it IS optimised for it, you don't have to obey it.
