Oh ok. Because I have this exact script on my PC and I matched up the files with what I have against what is against the server and all the files matched!! If you have this exact script on your PC , how did that become my fault , people buy script and give them away to their friends. You can get vB free [contact me for links], but that doesnt make it a FREE script. Thats called as illegel if you know what it means. http://www.elitesofttech.com/craigs/readme.html is the readme file for that WYSIWYG editor I used in this script. http://www.elitesofttech.com/craigs/ReadMe.txt is the file that I wrote myself, to help people install the script themself when they buy the script. Thats really funny !!! Smartest guy! , Did you notice that the project above was posted 2 years ago , I was not a good php programmer at that time.[as I didnt know coding when I came to earth , probably unlike you] ... I learnt it here. And 2 years is a lot of time to learn php and create a script like this. one more thing , I am a php programmer , but still I cant say that I can do everything ... recently I hired another programmer to make a script to change text to pdf ! so that means I am not a programmer? If you dont know what I mean , go to getafreelancer.com and check out , almost all programmers post projects for other too. Now please dont try to trash my thread.
Sure but that doesn't explain why you still have the readme file for the script on your server. You started this thread 2 months ago and you claimed you would add alot of features and such, well a number of people nhave suggested essential add-ons for this script and you have added nothing! Even though you claimed you would. One more thing.... Wait. You posted that project 2 years ago. But you created the script about 1 year ago which is what you said. So, you learned PHP in 1 year and not 2 (like you claimed). See? Your timeline doesn't add up . I'm not 100% sure you didn't create this script, but you are making it very hard for people to beleive you. I'm not trying to "trash" your sales thread, it's just that I've seen people trying to sell free scripts too many times.
I dont understand whats your problem. Its my server , my place , its me who will decide what I will upload and whats not. if you find readme file on my server [that too i created ] then its a free script... this doesnt make any sense to me. Now, here is where you are WRONG There are 3 Google ad blocks and 1 link block (Which is what Google's limit is - 4) And there is 1 google button(For adsense sign up - Google allows 2) The rest of the ads are CPM (Pay per visit, not per click) ads served by burstmedia.com and valueclickmedia.com and they are not contextual, so before you go hammering away at your keyboard, pay attention to which ad company the ads came from. So my site is NOT in violation of Adsense's TOS I never intended to claim you didn't create the script (I even asked questions before I went any further). I just merely wanted to know if you were the true coder.

You should pay me if you are using it on your domain , also , if possible , please let me know how did you get the copy of the script. I dont want to waste more of my time and energy prooving that I made this script , because thats the truth. You find the place where you think its being offered as free. Anyway , Just wait 1 week and you will see alot of thing that you will believe that I coded it. But still you made me happy by calling it a 'Great script'. You too hammered your keyboard without thinking first , and ruined my thread. And its xmas and we are damn busy doing coding for our clients , thats why its getting lot of time for seeing some modifications in this script. if you still believe that its a free script , please please contact me via PM and ill proove it to you, then I would request you to post on this thread that you were wrong. Hi rock I just sent you a PM and I would like to request an update to your script that I didn't see anyone here suggest is there anyway to make the script make the pages static with more search engine friendly urls for example instead of http://www.elitesofttech.com/craigsnew/showmessage.php?catid=58&subcatid=290&msgid=7 maybe it could be http://www.elitesofttech.com/craigsnew/test/test1/UST-A-TEST.html category/subcategory/title_of_classfied_post.html or category/subcategory/subsubcategory/title-of-classfied-post.html ect... ect... ect... ( Mixing it up like that would be even greater - and _ ) make it look not so automated This would be a very important update another would be if the site could make .rss feeds for other sites to post certain categories on there own websites another update that would be great would be premium listings that cost a fee and are posted above the free listings another update if not already in there is an email collector from all people who post ads and all who are interested in recieving updates to new posted ads in the categories they choose while signing up for the email updates another option that could be great is if you added a most popular ads on main page and per main category would create more links and back links in the script and create more clicks to advertisements maybe allow small images to be added to the classifieds maybe even add a top 10 search's list to the main page or top 5 and last 5 search's Well ads should expire from the listing keeping the old ads on static pages will only bring in more search engine traffic and create more backlinks inside the site which will help overall ranking thease things would make this script kick ass and worth alot more then what you are currently selling it for just my 2cents
I agree with Miguelmateos on the search engine friendly layout. I think it's just a matter of mod-rewrites. I didn't see a section on the admin area to manage/edit/delete the ads. That's a must-have feature. By the way, please contact me when the new version gets completed. I am certainly interested. I have been looking for a craigslist clone for a long time.
Hi; I just read the whole thread and I though I have to say something about this. First of all I know @rockmyway5 about for a year. He is a coder and founder of a company at India, working with 3 coder and a designer. Whenever I need a script I dont go anywhere to find a coder. I just tell it to him at msn messenger and he codes it as same as what I want within 2-4 days. And If I need more features he does. As he stated at earlier posts, You should have look created date first Created: 10/4/2004 at 2:50 EST Almost 2,5 years ago. I believe @rockmyway5 own the right of that script, and the script is not freeware. You should remove it, or as you said if you use it, u should pay.
@Miguelmateos : Thanks for your time for writing words for us to modify our script. @iBBnet : I will let you know when we launch next version (will be within 1 week). @themaster : Thanks my friend for your time For those who wants to know the status of our work , I have made this our list of to do's : 1) Making the script multilanguage supported. 2) Restructering the script and make its possible to modify font etc via CSS file. 3) Adding a section of Managing [add , edit , delete] in admin section. 4) Mod_rewrite the script. i.e. making category/subcategory/title_of_classifieds_post.html possible. I am pleased to inform that Post management section is done. This feature was requested by lots of people so we worked on it . Also , you can put your custom adsense code or other ads on header , footer , left and right side of the website and also you can manage Title , and Meta tags from Admin panel.
