Reporting Deceptive Practices

I have been a member here for a few years and have always had great experiences. However, I have run into a real crook who is taking advantage of people big time.

I am not a jaded or bitter ex-contractor. I have proof of deception from more than just myself. This person is using this forum to get people. How and to whom do I report this?

    Thanks, guys!

There's a 'Report' switch at the top right corner on the profile page of every user. (Use Ctrl+F from your browser and search for 'Report' without the quotes if you're not able to find it.) When you click it, a window should ideally appear that allows you state the reason for reporting.
You can also start a personal conversation with someone from the staff. Prefer a person who is online; you'll get a quick response.
    Hope this helps.

However the mods don't get involved in business disputes and it is up to both parties in a transaction to do their due diligence and assess the risk.

Often when you view the post history of a person they show their true character quite quickly.

By all means report the user, but be aware that we might not be able to do much. You should really take the problem to the real world agencies who deal with theft, fraud etc.

I do definitely understand that. I want to report him to DP, not for resolution of the issue but because he is using this forum to find people to cheat. He has posted dozens of ads to hire people and I know of at least 4 people so far that he has cheated. I have also spoke directly to one of his clients. So it's not just writers that he is cheating.

I just responded to another post where a writer reported that he was cheated by the same person that I am referring to.
